Big Mac & Joe Brown:

Big Mac was found as a stray, thin and hungry in a McDonald's parking lot. He was begging for burgers. Joe Brown's family moved and left him chained to a tree in the backyard. He had no access to food or water.

Big Mac and Joe Brown are the lucky ones. They have since found their forever homes. But, there are thousands of cats and dogs in East Tennessee who are not so lucky. Their short lives end in euthanasia in shelters, They die of starvation, are run over by cars or succomb to disease. These animals are the direct result of over-population.

That's where the PPAW Spay/Neuter Clinic CAN and DOES make a difference. Every dog and cat sterilized at our clinic will prevent thousands of kittens and puppies from coming into a world that does not have room for them.

But, the PPAW Clinic, to continue, funds are necessary. The fees charged to clients are kept deliberatly low so all can afford to sterlize their pets.

The PPAW Clinic is supported by the state Animal Friendly License Fund, as well as PetSmart Charities and several other animal welfare foundations.
